Abilitas

Abilitas is a recruitment company for the metiers de la procedure, du financement et du recouvrement, the professions covering legal procedure, financing and debt recovery. It runs a platform on which employers and candidates both register free of charge. Employers sign up as a company or an administration, giving a name, telephone number, website, sector of activity and a few keywords describing their business. Candidates register with their contact details, a CV as a PNG, JPG or PDF up to 10 MB, and a short explanation of the job they are looking for. The company's pitch to both sides is that talent is abundant in these sectors and that the platform simply exists so the two can meet.

Abilitas sets out four objectives that define the sectors it serves. The first is to supply gestion amiable with talent, on the basis that the current context is stretching payment terms and turning the amicable collection stage into a besoin en fonds de roulement issue, with a strongly expressed need for human resources behind it. The second is to provide administrative and social support, since compliance and the securing of the employment relationship contribute a great deal to the quality of a recruitment operation. The third is to bring together the players in tech and in law, achieving with the legal professions what has already been done in the fintechs, by giving proper value to internalised technology assignments. The fourth is to highlight the new metiers of gestion de creances, where the mobilisation of receivables to finance working capital, debtor-oriented structures and affacturage are all being renewed by circumstances.

The employer sector list on its registration form maps the market it covers in France: avocat, notaire and commissaire de justice practices, conseillers en gestion de patrimoine, intermediaires en financement and intermediaires en assurances, organismes bancaires, organismes de garantie and compagnies d'assurances, organismes de logement and regies, organismes de recouvrement, fonds specialises in gestion de creances, acteurs de l'ESS, experts-comptables and commissaires aux comptes, auditeurs, professionals working in encaissement and facturation, and internal recouvrement departments. Registration for the platform is free for employers and candidates alike.
