It places accountants into industry and financial shared services, and auditors, tax professionals and corporate finance professionals into industry and practice, along with treasury, project management and operational finance professionals. Its services are permanent recruitment, contract recruitment and executive search. For executive search it handles full cycle mandates for clients across Ireland and Europe, either on a retained basis or on demand through market mapping, shortlist screening or competency based interviewing. It says its team has over 50 years experience completing executive search mandates for organisations in the finance sector.

The firm has offices in Dublin and Frauenfeld, Switzerland. A+F Recruitment is a newer name: the team had been recruiting accounting and finance professionals for a number of years through its sister company Capital Markets Recruitment before creating a dedicated firm. It is part of the Vertical Markets Group, founded in 2008, which has grown into six industry specific recruiting brands.
