Others will look on and say you already have the Refari platform which is growing very quickly, surely it is better to focus on one product? Well the truth is that sometimes 1+1 = 3, in other words a product isn’t always the sum of its parts, this is certainly true of Refari + TopRec… TopRec brings verified testimonials and reviews into the Refari platform and we can combine them into marketing capabilities that neither product could achieve on its own. We can position these verified testimonials on recruiter profiles and these recruiter profiles appear on the job adverts on our clients website.. all in all it means a whole lot of visitors will be exposed to the positive brand story we can help our clients generate. That being said, you do not need to be a Refari platform user to use TopRec, it can very much be used as a standalone product too and we have made sure that value proposition of TopRec is more than strong enough for such a product.
A follow up question might have been, did you need to build it? Wasn’t there already a solution that fitted the bill that you could integrate with? The answer is, unfortunately not, the solutions in existence either focused on sentiment analytics like some sort of KPI platform, or were absurdly expensive or focused on driving traffic to their own site not about servicing quite to our standard. None of these resonated with our values or impressed us from a technological perspective.
Is it too bold to say, ‘we can do it better and at a significantly better price’?? Well we can, I mean we have… we did. As a product we launched it with Refari customers first and now it is out in the wild now and being used by clients across 4 continents already.
The TopRec solution is available for just:
Other solutions in this space can easily cost more than 5x as much, and our view is that it shouldn’t cost that much to change recruitment for the better. Also please note the ‘no lock in’ contact part, it’s another thing I need to write about, its possibly another blog post for another day. But in short, a great product that delivers what it advertises should have no reason to lock you in for lengthy contract, and if that product demonstrates a great return on investment you would be very unlikely to leave it.
